Nine Mile Run Watershed Monitoring

In November 2005, NMRWA formed a committee to monitor and evaluate the effects of the stream's aquatic ecosystem restoration and NMRWA's programming. Research has focused on three main areas; geomorphology (physical structure of the stream course), water quality, and aquatic organisms. The scientific reports can be accessed below, along with reports on rain barrel monitoring and evaluation and street tree inventories.
