Join us as we bird the Nine Mile Run Valley learn about the ecological restoration efforts in the southern end of the park. In the past, we've been delighted by some unusual winged visitors - join expert naturalist and president of the Wissahickon Nature Club, Chuck Tague and Jack Solomon to see if we get any pleasant surprises this year. Breeding birds should be active, and an Orchard Oriole nested in the valley last June. We could also run into Carolina Chickadees, Carolina Wrens, Yellow Warbler, Scarlet Tanager, and Indigo Bunting. Breakfast will be provided. Please register for this members-only event with Lisa at 412,371.8779 ext.115 or lisa@ninemilerun.org.Click here for more information about the Wissahickon Nature Club.
